Community Programs

Task Force

The task force engages several individuals year-round in outdoor activities. Many clients throughout the Greater Napanee area employ the task force for snow shovelling, raking of leaves, and lawn cutting. Community Living Lennox & Addington supplies all the equipment and the manpower!

BIA Partnership

New to Community Living Lennox & Addington in 2013, is a collaboration with the Napanee Business Improvement Association. Four days a week, a supervised group from Community Living Lennox & Addington are responsible for cleaning a section of the downtown core, removing debris. In the winter, this working crew also shovel paths in the snow bank to enable shoppers to walk through the curb-side snow banks. As well, our Woodworking program built flower boxes for some downtown businesses to use outside their shop doors and on their window ledges.

Volunteer Work Job Placement

Community Living Lennox & Addington has partnerships with many local businesses to provide volunteer job placements for many of our individuals supported. Individuals work at Mr.Sub, Giant Tiger, McDonalds, McNikk's, Circle of Tots and A Cut Above, to name a few. Individuals are given the opportunity to use their skills in retail establishments, providing positive exposure of their talents and helping to integrate into the larger community.

Other Community Partnerships

Everyday our individuals are involved in the Napanee community making new friends. Other partnerships include a long-standing cleaning contract with the Napanee Royal Canadian Legion as well as business contracts with Continental Conveyors and Levac Supply.
