Becky Hinch, President

As a lifelong resident in Napanee, Becky Hinch has always witnessed the importance of Community Living. Having always been drawn to the mission of inclusion that Community Living strives for, she was honoured to join the board this Spring, 2019. Becky is a local business owner, Becky Hinch Photography, and brings creative thinking to the board. She is always looking for innovative ways to help! She is a member of the Parent Advisory Committee for Selby School and has served with many volunteer opportunities in the past. Becky looks forward to working with Community Living for many years to come!

Luci MacLauchlan, Vice President

Luci MacLauchlan joined the Community Living Board of Directors in 2015.  Luci began her career as an Intensive Care nurse.  She finished her medical career as Head Nurse of the Intensive Care Unit at Queensway General Hospital (Etobicoke).  Luci returned to school to study the law and was called to the bar in February 1992.  She predominantly practices Family Law.  Her interest in Community Living is natural having both a sister and a daughter who have worked in the developmental services sector.  As a volunteer Luci was president of the Lennox & Addington Bar Association and sat on the Board of Interval House.  Luci is the proud mother to three children. Luci brings the compassion and a solid legal knowledge to CLLA.

Barb Fabius, Secretary

Barb Fabius is the Executive Director of Community Living Lennox & Addington (CLLA). Barb has worked in the Developmental Services Sector since early in the 1980s. Barb has been in leadership roles for over 30 years. For the past 20 plus years, Barb has been the Executive Director of CLLA – managing the agency through growth and expanding the supports offered. Barb has developed active partnerships throughout the area. Barb has a strong knowledge of the sector. She has created at CLLA a vital and essential agency that adapts to changing expectations and helps meet the needs of individuals in the County of Lennox & Addington. Barb is passionate about inclusivity. Barb and her husband, David, raised their two daughters in Napanee.

Lois Swenson, Treasurer

Lois Swenson joined Community Living Lennox & Addington’s Board of Directors in 2015.  Lois is a local resident with strong ties to the local community.  She owned and operated the bulk food store in Napanee.  She has been a dental assistant for the past twenty-five years, working in this position with many special needs individuals.  Lois is a proud mother as well as a grandmother to four, the youngest of which has Down Syndrome. Lois is an avid leaner with a strong sense of duty.  Lois was excited for the opportunity to continue to grow and be a part of the Community Living family.

Pam Oliver, Director/Past President

Pam Oliver is well known in Napanee as the recently retired General Manager and General Sales Manager of local radio station myFM.  Pam spent her life in the Greater Napanee area.  She and her husband, Grant, raised their two daughters here.  Pam operated a floral shop in Napanee for several years before moving to a sales position for a local newspaper and then on to myFM in 2007.  As a volunteer, Pam has had a busy career.  She canvassed for the Heart and Stroke Foundation for more than 30 years and organized their BIG BIKE event for several years.  She has held different positions with the Napanee BIA including the role of Chairperson.  Additionally Pam has worked with the Rotary Club and held the Corporate Sponsor Chair for the Relay for Life.  She has also been CLLA’s Board of Director President in the past and recently returned to rejoin the Board.  Pam is a seasoned media professional who has provided wise advice to CLLA.

Linda McCutcheon, Director

Linda moved to the area in 2014 with her two young adult children to marry Bill McCutcheon. She worked in administrative positions over the years making a good fit as she partnered with her husband as co-owner in their Real Estate Appraisal business. Linda also learned a new skill in becoming a sheep farmer’s wife and helps as much as she can on their farm. She loves to read, craft, and travel. Because of her passion for single parents, she wrote a book for single parents, had a blog to encourage single parents along with participating in various speaking engagements and radio interviews. You will find her most relaxed being outdoors and taking care of baby lambs. She feels honoured to become a part of the Community Living family.

Kelly McCaugherty, Director

Kelly grew up here in Napanee. She was born with Cerebral Palsy. Kelly attended University and College in Ottawa. She has a General Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Carleton University, as well as a Diploma in Child & Youth Work from Algonquin College. Kelly decided to return home because she loves the sense of community that Napanee has. Kelly is looking forward to getting to know, and work alongside everyone at Community Living Lennox & Addington; while doing our best to ensure that our community continues to provide as much of a barrier free experience as we can.
